Management Team

Valley Ambulance Authority and Quaker Valley Ambulance Authority are led by an experienced team of emergency medical services professionals. Our leadership is committed to clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and compassionate community service.

Together, our management team brings decades of experience in prehospital care, EMS operations, training, and administration. They work closely with our Board of Directors to ensure we deliver the highest quality emergency medical services to every community we serve.

Chief

The Chief is responsible for overall strategic direction, operations, and administration of both Valley Ambulance Authority and Quaker Valley Ambulance Authority. Reporting directly to the Boards of Directors, the Chief ensures our organizations fulfill their mission of providing exceptional emergency medical services to the communities we serve.

VAA operations

Deputy Chiefs

Our two Deputy Chiefs work closely with the Chief to oversee the day-to-day operations of both authorities. They manage scheduling, field operations, crew coordination, quality assurance, training programs, and administrative functions.

Field Operations

Lieutenants

Our Lieutenants provide on-scene leadership, quality oversight, and support for our crews around the clock. Each shift is led by an experienced Lieutenant who provides clinical oversight, responds to complex calls, and ensures quality patient care across all units.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Clinical oversight and quality assurance
  • Response to high-acuity and multi-patient incidents
  • Crew support and mentoring
  • Coordination with hospitals and partner agencies
  • Equipment and vehicle readiness checks
