Open & Transparent Governance
As municipal authorities, Valley Ambulance Authority (VAA) and Quaker Valley Ambulance Authority (QVAA) are committed to transparent governance. Our board meetings are open to the public, and we encourage community members to attend.
Each authority is governed by a Board of Directors appointed by member municipalities. The boards are responsible for policy decisions, budget approval, and oversight of operations.

VAA Board
The VAA Board of Directors consists of representatives appointed by each member municipality. The board meets monthly to oversee operations, approve budgets, and set policy.
Member Municipalities:
Moon Township, Coraopolis Borough, Crescent Township, Neville Island, Pittsburgh International Airport
QVAA Board
The QVAA Board of Directors includes one appointed representative from each member municipality, ensuring equal representation across all communities served.
Member Municipalities:
Sewickley Borough, Sewickley Heights, Sewickley Hills, Aleppo Township, Bell Acres, Edgeworth, Glen Osborne, Glenfield, Haysville, Leet Township, Leetsdale

Meeting agendas are posted at our headquarters and made available prior to each meeting. Minutes from previous meetings are available upon request.

Public Participation
Community members are welcome to attend board meetings and participate during designated public comment periods. Here's what you need to know:
- Meetings are open to all members of the public
- Public comment periods are provided at each meeting
- Speakers are typically limited to 3-5 minutes
- Written comments may also be submitted in advance
If you'd like to address the board on a specific topic, we recommend contacting the office in advance so your item can be added to the agenda if appropriate.
